  • Do you accept insurance?

  • How long are sessions at Self-Improvement Psychiatry?

    • We spend a full 45 minutes on our first visit together, and perform and in depth evaluation without you feeling rushed.

    • Upon request, we will provide you with a form that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement should you choose to use your insurance.

  • Can Self-Improvement Psychiatry prescribe medications electronically for me?

    • We have full capacity to send prescriptions electronically without the need for a physical one. They can be sent directly to your pharmacy of choice.

  • How long does it take for medications to start working?

    • The answer to this question depends on what medication is prescribed and what condition it is treating. Discuss this question with our office directly for an answer on a case-by-case basis.
